Anwar Urges Continued Global Efforts for Palestinian Liberation

Kuala lumpur: Muslims and the international community must continue to persevere in exerting pressure on Israel to end its atrocities against Palestine, stressed Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. He emphasized that the ongoing cruelty in Palestine poses a major challenge for the entire Muslim ummah and peace advocates worldwide.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar delivered these remarks during a special keynote lecture, 'Malaysiaku Bersama Gaza,' at the 'Malam Himpunan dan Selawat Malaysiaku Bersama Gaza' at Dataran Merdeka. The event was attended by thousands of Muslims, including several government officials and representatives of humanitarian organizations.

The Prime Minister pledged to leverage his position to advocate for Palestine's liberation on the international stage. He highlighted his efforts in discussions with leaders from various countries, emphasizing that he has consistently brought attention to the plight of Palestinians.

Anwar noted that continuous pressure and clear evidence of Zionist atrocities have led many countries to notice and openly reject Israel's actions. He mentioned that nations are now calling for the liberation and reconstruction of areas affected by ongoing attacks.

Additionally, Anwar expressed hope for the Sumud Nusantara convoy, which is scheduled to join a humanitarian flotilla to Gaza, emphasizing its role in demonstrating Malaysia's commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause.

During the event, he flagged off the Sumud Nusantara 2025 Convoy for the Gaza Flotilla, which includes delegations from several countries. Anwar also urged the youth to promote peace and unity within the nation, calling for a rejection of division and hatred.
