Selangor: Arrest warrants have been issued by the court for two individuals, including the founder of the eHati marriage motivation programme, as they failed to appear for their court charges. Selangor Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar has confirmed that police are actively working to track down both individuals.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Shazeli Kahar stated, "Two warrants of arrest have been issued for failing to attend court during their charges. I can confirm that efforts are underway to locate them," during a press conference today.
In a separate case, Shazeli addressed the media regarding a post-mortem conducted on a body found by a river near a private higher learning institution in Bandar Sunway last month. The cause of death remains undetermined due to the body's advanced state of decomposition.
"We are waiting for a detailed report from the Chemistry Department to help establish the cause of death," he stated. Shazeli further mentioned that no arrests have been made in connection with this case, and the victim's identity is still unknown as no one has come forward for identification. Efforts to identify the deceased continue.
