At Least Five Teams Competing for Hakim Danish’s Services Next Season

Kuala lumpur: At least five Moto3 and Moto2 teams have expressed interest in signing Malaysia's rising motorcycle ace Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli for next season, according to Sepang International Circuit (SIC) Racing team manager Zulfahmi Khairuddin.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Zulfahmi stated that these teams are among the sport's high-profile outfits and are eager to secure the services of Hakim Danish, who currently rides for AEON Credit-MT Helmets-MSi. Initial discussions have commenced to evaluate the best offer for the future of the 18-year-old's career, focusing on the team's rider development program, long-term stability, and the machinery available to him.

Zulfahmi expressed that during his visit to Germany, several teams approached him with offers. While his primary goal remains to negotiate with the current team, he is also exploring other opportunities. He emphasized that he is not considering teams below the level of MT Helmets-MSi, as the objective is to join a team capable of competing for world championships.

Zulfahmi highlighted that the decision regarding Hakim Danish's future team will prioritize how well he integrates with the team and the potential to advance to the premier class, the Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP), rather than just the contract's monetary value. He stressed that in motorsports, performance is paramount, and decisions should not be driven by emotion or financial gain alone.

Additionally, Zulfahmi mentioned that even if a move occurs, he aims to ensure Hakim Danish is placed in the best possible environment, considering that not every European crew might be suited to working with a Malaysian rider. These factors are crucial in their decision-making process.

Meanwhile, MT Helmets-MSi, Hakim Danish's current team, is awaiting a decision from his management, as they have almost finalized their rider lineup for the upcoming season.
