AZAM Sarawak’s Youth Reps To Present High-Impact Projects At ASEAN Forum

Kuala lumpur: Three youth leaders from Angkatan Zaman Mansang Sarawak (AZAM Sarawak) will represent the state's high-impact projects at the ASEAN Sustainable Urbanisation Forum (ASUF) Youth Assembly 2025, taking place from Aug 10 to 15 in Kuala Lumpur. According to BERNAMA News Agency, AZAM Sarawak announced that the representatives from its Young Souls (AYS) wing, including AYS president Theron Then Kai Yuan, secretary Muhammad Shahrizan, and executive committee member Micheal Larry, will deliver presentations on topics such as environmental conservation, digital innovation, and inclusive youth governance models. The organisation emphasized its continued leadership in youth empowerment and participatory communication, highlighting its strategic partnership role at this esteemed forum. Organised by URBANICE Malaysia under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), the forum provides a platform for regional discussions on sustainable urbanisation. The invitation extended to AZAM Sarawak underscore s the organisation's dedication to promoting youth empowerment and sustainable development within the ASEAN region. AZAM aims to bring the voices and ambitions of Sarawak's youth to the regional stage, aligning local impact with global change.
