Petaling jaya: The male suspect involved in the fatal stabbing of a female student, 16, at a secondary school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya will be charged with murder at the Petaling Jaya Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) confirmed that they had reviewed the investigation paper submitted by the police concerning the death of the female student. The AGC stated that a detailed examination of the investigation paper revealed sufficient grounds to charge the male student involved in the incident.
The department has decided to charge the student under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. The male suspect, 14, was previously remanded for seven days to assist with investigations following the discovery of the female victim's body in a school toilet. She was allegedly stabbed repeatedly by the suspect.
