Batu Pahat: The Batu Pahat branch of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) has seized 16,500 litres of diesel at a company which lacks valid documents in Parit Yaani.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the director of KPDN, Lilis Saslinda Pornomo, stated that during an inspection conducted under Op Pantau 2025, the company was unable to produce any valid documents such as a license for owning and storing diesel. Further investigation revealed that the company had not renewed its permit to store diesel, which expired four years ago. There are also suspicions regarding elements of forged documentation.
The inspection, which took place at 2 pm, uncovered approximately 16,500 litres of diesel stored in three tanks intended for heavy machinery use. The estimated value of the seized diesel is RM50,000. A local man in his 50s, believed to be a company director, has been summoned to aid in the investigation. The case is being investigated under the Control of Supplies Act 1961.
