Kuala lumpur: BERNAMA has issued an erratum regarding a news report published on March 26, 2024, titled 'Syarikat Dibantu Wan Saiful Peroleh Penarafan Empat Bintang, Mahkamah Diberitahu'. The report was related to the criminal trial proceedings involving Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, a review of the article indicated that the headline could potentially lead to confusion and misinterpretation, suggesting that Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan had corruptly aided Nepturis Sdn Bhd in securing a four-star rating from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). BERNAMA clarified that such an interpretation was entirely untrue.

In an effort to prevent any further misunderstanding, BERNAMA has decided to withdraw the news report. The agency expressed regret for any inconvenience or misapprehension caused to Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan as a result of the article's publication.
