KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Transport Ministry has unveiled a new initiative allowing the public to bid on special Putrajaya vehicle registration numbers under the FG series. This opportunity, announced by Transport Minister Anthony Loke, is open through the JPJeBid system and will run until January 6.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Minister Loke emphasized that this initiative is designed to enhance revenue for the Road Transport Department (JPJ) while offering individuals the chance to secure unique registration numbers. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to modernize and improve the services provided by JPJ.
In conjunction with the announcement of the FG series plates, Minister Loke also inaugurated JPJ's new office. This new facility is seen as a key component in the department's efforts to increase service quality. Loke stated that the opening of the new office marks a significant shift not only in terms of infrastructure but also in the department's commitment to delivering more efficient and responsive services that meet public needs.
