Kuala Lumpur: The body of a 19-month-old male toddler, Hud Aryan Mohd Nor Hafifi, who had been missing since Monday, was discovered this afternoon at a river bank near his home in Kampung Aira Kuala Tiga.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, operations commander, Senior Fire Officer II Mohd Asmadi Ariffin, reported that the search and rescue (SAR) team found the body at 4.15 pm, approximately three kilometres from the child's house. The SAR operation, now in its third day, commenced at 10.15 am and involved personnel from the police, the People's Volunteer Corps, the Civil Defence Force, and local villagers.

"The body of the victim has been taken to Tanah Merah Hospital for the next process," Mohd Asmadi Ariffin stated in a press release issued today.

Meanwhile, the victim's uncle, Nur Rahimi Muaz Ramli, aged 30, expressed the family's gratitude for the efforts made by all parties involved in the search for his nephew.
