Body Stuffed Into Suitcase Found At Butterworth’s Ampang Jajar Flats

Butterworth: Police confirmed the macabre discovery of the body of an unidentified man stuffed into a suitcase near the Ampang Jajar Flats in Permatang Pauh here today. Seberang Perai Utara (SPU) police chief ACP Anuar Abdul Rahman said his department received a report on the grisly find at 1.43 pm.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, investigations are still ongoing, and further developments will be announced later. The luggage containing the body was reportedly discovered by a drain cleaner who was performing routine tasks in the area surrounding the flats. Upon making the discovery, the worker promptly alerted the police.

The victim's body has been transported to the Seberang Jaya Hospital (HSJ) for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. The authorities are working diligently to uncover more information and identify the deceased individual.
