Kuala lumpur: The Home Ministry (KDN) is keeping close watch on a range of threats, including the infiltration of foreign elements, smuggling, and human trafficking, as it works to safeguard the country's borders.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail emphasized that border security remains a key priority, with the ministry adopting a comprehensive approach rather than focusing on any single form of threat. He highlighted the ministry's commitment to ensuring that the borders are secure against various threats, whether they involve foreign elements, smuggling, or human trafficking.

During a press conference following the handover ceremony for the completed Marine Police Force Region Three headquarters project in Tok Bali, Saifuddin Nasution commented on reports from a neighboring country regarding alleged elements related to Israeli settlement activities. He reiterated that the ministry assesses border security threats comprehensively, not viewing them in isolation due to singular incidents.

Saifuddin Nasution stated, "We do not look at matters piecemeal or separately simply because of one or two incidents. That is our approach." He underscored that such a strategy is essential to maintaining the security of the country's borders against a wide array of threats.
