Budget 2026 to Bring Promising Developments for Malaysians, States KSN

Kuala lumpur: Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN) Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar expressed confidence that the 2026 Budget will not disappoint Malaysians, particularly civil servants.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Shamsul Azri assured that the Budget would contain favorable news, although details remain undisclosed at this stage. He conveyed this optimism when questioned about expectations for the 2026 Budget during the Fourth National Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Research Conference.

Shamsul Azri highlighted that the anticipated 'good news' reflects the MADANI Government's dedication to being a caring and people-centric administration. The 2026 Budget, set to be presented in the Dewan Rakyat on October 10, will mark the fourth installment of the MADANI Budget. This budget aims to enhance fiscal resilience, strengthen economic fundamentals, and elevate citizens' living standards.

The upcoming Budget will concentrate on three primary pillars of the MADANI Economy: boosting national growth potential, enhancing the people's standard of living, and advancing reforms, especially in the field of good governance.
