Kuala lumpur: CC International Bhd (CCIB), through its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Indah Secretarial (Penang) Sdn Bhd (ISPG), has finalized a share purchase agreement to acquire Alpadis Trust (Labuan) Ltd for US$750,000. This transaction, which equates to approximately RM3.14 million, was announced in a Bursa Malaysia filing in collaboration with Alpadis Group Holding AG.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, CCIB, known for its integrated corporate solutions, sees this acquisition as a strategic move to expand its client base and enhance its business network. By acquiring Alpadis, an established business with a stable clientele, CCIB aims to leverage this opportunity to offer additional professional services and capitalize on Alpadis's profitable track record over the past two years, thereby ensuring future profitability for the group.
The funding for the acquisition will come from the unutilized proceeds of a private placement exercise completed on July 26, 2023. The acquisition is expected to be finalized by the fourth quarter of 2025, pending approval from the Labuan Financial Services Authority for the share transfer. Notably, the acquisition does not require the approval of CCIB's shareholders or any other government authorities, streamlining the process for the company.
