Kuala lumpur: Sunway Theme Parks will ring in the New Year with a high-energy countdown celebration at Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Lost World of Tambun on Dec 31, featuring live performances, interactive activities and a spectacular fireworks display.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sunway Theme Parks announced that Santa will be extending his stay before heading back to the North Pole, turning New Year's Eve into one last festive highlight of the holiday season. As the clock strikes midnight, a stunning fireworks display will illuminate the sky, marking the end of 2025 and the beginning of a new year in a memorable fashion.

The New Year's Eve celebration is part of a larger festive storyline that Sunway Theme Parks has been presenting throughout the holiday season. This campaign, titled 'Santa On Holiday,' continues until January 11, 2026, and features Santa exchanging snow for sunshine in a festive adventure. Santa, along with his holiday partners, hosts a variety of activities and surprises to ensure the festivities extend well beyond Christmas Day.

The campaign is supported by Himalaya Sports, the official partner, which contributes energetic activities and on-ground engagement to Santa's holiday plans. Additional support comes from partners F and N and Li-Ning, all working together to maintain a lively festive atmosphere throughout the parks.

Coca-Cola, alongside Sunway Tiny Toys, is adding to the celebrations with a Christmas redemption campaign running from December 15, 2025, to January 11, 2026. Guests purchasing Sunway Tiny Toys merchandise are treated to complimentary Coca-Cola drinks, with additional perks for purchases of Coca-Cola-themed merchandise, ensuring refreshing moments throughout the season's celebrations.
