Kuala lumpur: Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd has reinforced its commitment to the well-being of the Pulau Indah community in Klang, Selangor, by contributing RM10,000 through the distribution of Food Bank vouchers to four mosques to assist those in need.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Central Spectrum announced that the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, held at the Central Spectrum Sales Gallery in Pulau Indah, is part of the company's ongoing initiative to help ease the burden of those in need while strengthening ties with the Pulau Indah community.

Under the programme, Central Spectrum distributed RM10,000 worth of assistance in the form of 500 Food Bank vouchers to Masjid AlQayyum in Bandar Armada Putra, Masjid Ar-Rahman in Kampung Sungai Pinang, Masjid Ar-Raudhah in Kampung Sungai Kembong, and Masjid Sultan Abdul Aziz in Kampung Perigi Nanas for distribution to eligible families and individuals within their respective congregations.

The presentation ceremony was officiated by Central Spectrum acting chief operating officer Edi Zuhri Abd Rahim.

According to the statement, the selection of mosques as programme partners reflects Central Spectrum's confidence in the role of mosques as centres for ummah development and community welfare. "With their close community networks, mosques are best placed to identify those who are genuinely in need and to ensure that assistance is distributed in a transparent, fair and effective manner."

"Besides supporting community welfare, this programme also strengthens the strategic partnership between Central Spectrum and mosques as community development partners in Pulau Indah," the statement said.

Meanwhile, Edi Zuhri, in his speech, expressed appreciation to all parties, especially the mosque representatives, for their continued support of the company's welfare initiatives. "Central Spectrum hopes that initiatives such as the Food Bank Programme will continue to serve as a platform to foster compassion, strengthen collaborative networks and contribute to the holistic well-being of the community," he said.
