Kuala lumpur: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar has reminded that the Kuala Lumpur Declaration that has been agreed upon must be fully adhered to by all parties. He emphasised this while chairing the National Governance Committee Meeting Series 5 No. 2/2025 with all ministry secretaries-general and state government secretaries, which took place this morning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Shamsul Azri stated that the meeting serves as a crucial platform for strengthening integrity, improving the efficiency of public sector governance, and ensuring comprehensive coordination of policy implementation. He stressed the importance of commitment to the principles of good governance at the federal government, state government, and local authority levels as essential to the successful and effective implementation of the national governance reform agenda.
