Shah alam: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar today visited former Community Communications Department (J-KOM) director-general Datuk Ismail Yusop, who is receiving treatment at Shah Alam Hospital (HSAS) in Selangor.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Shamsul Azri stated that Ismail, affectionately known as Tok Abah, is a friend who has contributed greatly and is well regarded by many. "I pray that Tok Abah will continue to be blessed with strength, resilience and a high spirit as he undergoes treatment. May Allah grant him a speedy recovery, ease all his affairs and relieve him of the pain he is enduring," Shamsul Azri expressed in a Facebook post today.

Shamsul Azri further expressed hope that with the prayers of Ismail's family, friends, and all who know him, the former J-KOM director-general would recover and regain good health. He also extended his appreciation to HSAS director Dr. Ruzita Othman and all the hospital staff for the care, attention, and services extended to Ismail and other patients.
