Kuala lumpur: CIMB Bank Berhad ('CIMB' or 'the Bank') has strengthened its commitment to empowering Malaysia's youth and enhancing the well-being of customers and society with the introduction of the +Play Finance Programme ('the Programme'). This initiative, developed in collaboration with the Nicol David Organisation ('NDO'), was launched at Karnival Celik Kewangan in Penang, a national financial literacy initiative spearheaded by Bank Negara Malaysia ('BNM'). The programme aims to equip young Malaysians with essential life skills by integrating physical movements, mental wellness, and financial literacy, fostering physical discipline, emotional resilience, and financial capability among participants.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the +Play Finance Programme is set to benefit over 750 students from 30 schools in the Klang Valley. It emphasizes holistic youth development through engaging workshops and interactive movement sessions. The programme's experiential approach combines physical activities with foundational financial education, encouraging students to remain active while acquiring vital life skills essential for their growth and positive contribution to their communities.
