Kuala lumpur: CIMB Bank Berhad ('CIMB' or 'the Bank') has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Remedi Innovations Sdn. Bhd. ('Remedi') to co-develop digital health and wellness solutions aimed at health tech small and medium enterprises ('SMEs'). This strategic partnership aims to position CIMB as an ecosystem enabler and innovation partner, promoting technology-led financial solutions across fast-growing sectors. Formed under CIMB's Digital Labs Innovation Programme, this initiative is designed to integrate financial services within digital platforms used by SMEs, reinforcing CIMB's commitment to innovation-led growth by offering practical, sector-specific financial solutions.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Remedi is a certified provider of Electronic Medical Records ('EMR') and digital health solutions, offering a cloud-based clinic management system that helps healthcare providers improve clinic operations and patient care. Through this collaboration, CIMB and Remedi will work together to develop embedded financial solutions within Remedi's digital infrastructure, tailored to meet the needs of Remedi's clients, including clinics, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical suppliers. With the rollout, CIMB plans to onboard more digital providers nationwide to accelerate the growth of the health-tech industry.
