Penang: One lane on Jalan Batu Ferringhi, near Moonlight Bay, will be closed until Nov 30 to allow repairs to cracks and subsidence. Penang Infrastructure and Transport Committee chairman Zairil Khir Johari announced that contractors are undertaking soil nailing works along the road.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the lane closure is to facilitate repair works and other related activities by the contractors appointed by the Timur Laut Public Works Department. Zairil Khir Johari stated this in a statement today.

He urged road users to exercise caution, reduce their speed, comply with safety signs, and follow the instructions of traffic controllers at the site.
