Cloudera Survey Reveals 96% of Enterprises Now Using AI in Core Business Operations

Kuala lumpur: Cloudera has unveiled the findings from its latest global survey report, "The Evolution of AI: The State of Enterprise AI and Data Architecture," highlighting a significant rise in the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) within core business processes. The report, which surveyed over 1,500 IT leaders, reveals how AI adoption has accelerated across enterprises, the evolution of data architectures, and emerging challenges in securely scaling AI by 2025.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the survey shows a remarkable shift in AI adoption compared to the previous year. In 2024, 88% of respondents indicated the use of AI within their companies, but this figure has now surged to 96%. This substantial increase suggests that AI has transitioned from being a competitive advantage to a mandatory practice in enterprise operations. The report underscores the necessity for organizations to have complete access to their data, regardless of its location or type, to effectively govern it and extract real-time and predictive insights.

Furthermore, the survey highlights the success rates of AI initiatives, with 70% of respondents reporting significant achievements. Only a small fraction, 1%, have yet to see results from their AI endeavors. The findings illustrate the rapidly changing landscape of enterprise AI and the pivotal role data plays in fueling AI-driven transformations.
