Communications Ministry Opens Media Centre Ahead Of Kinabatangan, Lamag By-Elections

Kota kinabatangan: The Ministry of Communications, in collaboration with the Department of Information (Japen) and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), will open a media centre in conjunction with the Kinabatangan parliamentary and Lamag state by-elections.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Ministry of Communications announced that the media centre at the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) in Kota Kinabatangan Simpang Batu 8, Jalan Bukit Garam, Kinabatangan will begin operating tomorrow until January 24, from 9 am to 7 pm.

"Media practitioners are invited to use the facilities provided and obtain information at the media centre," stated the announcement.

The Kinabatangan parliamentary and Lamag state by-elections were necessitated following the death of the incumbent Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, who passed away at the age of 66 on December 5.
