Continuous Rain Alert Issued for Multiple Regions in Malaysia by MetMalaysia

Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert-level warning indicating that several states in Peninsular Malaysia, along with regions in Sarawak and Sabah, can expect continuous rain from December 5 to 8.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia's director-general, Dr. Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip, highlighted that the forecast includes continuous rain for Sabah, specifically targeting the areas of Sandakan, which covers Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, and Sandakan itself, as well as Kudat, from December 5 to 6.

A similar alert has been issued for Kelantan, targeting regions such as Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Bachok, and Pasir Puteh, as well as Terengganu and parts of Pahang, including Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin, from December 6 to 7.

From December 7 to 8, the continuous rain is expected to affect several districts in Johor, namely Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru. Additionally, areas in Sarawak, including Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei (Pakan, Sarikei, and Meradong), Sibu (Sibu and Selangau), Mukah, and Bintulu, are also forecast to experience continuous rain.
