Cuepacs Urges Civil Servants To Strengthen Integrity, Focus on Providing Best Service

Kota bharu: The Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Civil Services (Cuepacs) called on all civil servants to continue strengthening integrity to retain the people's confidence in the government sector.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, its president, Datuk Dr. Adnan Mat, emphasized the importance of monitoring the integrity level among civil servants to prevent any involvement in corruption or misappropriation issues. He acknowledged that while there might be some weaknesses exposed by certain parties involving the civil service, these do not represent the overall situation.

Dr. Adnan stressed the need for prudent measures to protect the reputation of civil servants, reassuring that they remain focused on providing the best service to the people and the country. He made these remarks during the launch of the 17th Triennial General Meeting of the KADA Staff Union 2025 at the KADA Headquarters.

He further highlighted that the excellence of public sector services is in line with the benefits enjoyed by civil servants due to the government's implementation of salary increases, which began last year and are set to continue next January. These improvements, he noted, will help ensure a better service delivery system for the nation.
