Dagupan city: Around 50 business exhibitors joined the two-day Negosyo Expo in this city set from Tuesday to Wednesday, catering to both aspiring and seasonal entrepreneurs. Engineer Jefferson Livara, director of LIV Media Corporation and the organizer of the exposition, described it as an all-in-one venue where attendees are trained and can avail of business packages offered by exhibitors.
According to Philippines News Agency, Livara emphasized the expo's role in teaching participants how to start a business and become entrepreneurs. He noted that the event is open to everyone and free of charge, with exhibitors offering business packages that require minimal to zero capital. Livara explained that attendees could act as agents, with talks by representatives discussing various business opportunities, including online virtual assistance.
The expo features training topics such as Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset, RCBC Negosyo Bundle, Hassle-Free Importation, and Prosperity with Purpose, among others. City Mayor Belen Fernandez highlighted the event as a celebration of creativity, courage, and commitment to business innovation, offering free seminars and mentorship to support aspiring entrepreneurs.
Attendees like Lorraine Ann Pimentel, a college student from Palaris College in San Carlos City, expressed interest in ventures such as the beauty and health product business. Livara advised aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue businesses they are passionate about, stressing the importance of starting small and dreaming big. He encouraged young entrepreneurs to adhere to a principle of progression, starting modestly and expanding as they gain success and mastery.
