Ipoh: The decomposing body of a man was found in a lake in Tasek Tiara Lake View Plaza, near Lahat here yesterday. Ipoh district police chief ACP Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad stated that the discovery was reported at approximately 5.40 pm by a passerby who noticed a body floating near the bank of the lake.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, police investigations at the scene did not uncover any signs of blood, struggle, or suspicious objects. Further examination of the area revealed no abandoned or suspicious vehicles. Authorities estimate that the victim had been deceased for more than a day, and initial checks showed no signs of struggle or external wounds.

The body, which had no identification documents, has been classified as a case of sudden death pending autopsy results from Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital.
