Deputy MB Urges Immediate Action on Kelantan Stray Dog Problem

Bachok:The issue of stray dogs in Kelantan requires immediate attention to protect residents, especially children and school students, from potential attacks, stated Deputy Menteri Besar Datuk Dr Mohamed Fadzli Hassan.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr. Mohamed Fadzli emphasized the need for authorities to address this matter urgently and take necessary legal actions to prioritize human safety. His comments came after an Exco meeting at Kompleks Kota Darulnaim, following an incident last Thursday where an eight-year-old boy was seriously injured by a pack of stray dogs at Pantai Kuala Kemasin in Bachok.

In addition, Dr. Mohamed Fadzli condemned the recent act of vandalism at Masjid Al-Aziz Al-Hadi in Kota SPP Warisan, Kampung Berangan, Tumpat. The mosque was reportedly vandalized with its glass door smashed and a foul-smelling liquid poured onto the carpet. He described the act as rude and irresponsible, stressing that such occurrences should not happen at places of worship. Police are currently identifying a suspect linked to the incident.

Furthermore, Dr. Mohamed Fadzli expressed hopes that several significant projects benefiting public interests would be prioritized in Budget 2027, to be announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. He highlighted the importance of projects such as flood mitigation and the extension of the East Coast Expressway (LPT) from Gemuruh to Kelantan to offer an alternative route to Kuala Lumpur.
