KUALA LUMPUR — A total of 7,700 potholes on roads in peninsular Malaysia and 56,553 in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan have been patched up by the Works Ministry (KKR) through the Zero Potholes Programme from January to December last year.

Deputy Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad said for peninsular Malaysia, the potholes were patched up within 24 hours after the report was made, while for Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan only 431 potholes could not be repaired within that period.

“The location that could not be repaired within 24 hours is along Jalan Simpang Bakun and Bakun Dam in Bintulu, Sarawak,” he said during question time.
