The direction of the MADANI government in enhancing institutional reform, social justice, and economic empowerment is evident through the seven key points announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM) president Ahmad Fahmi Mohd Samsudin stated that these key points symbolize a significant step towards establishing a MADANI nation grounded in trust, accountability, and collective well-being. ABIM expressed its support for these reforms, highlighting crucial initiatives such as the separation of prosecutorial powers from the Attorney-General, imposing term limits for the Prime Minister, instituting an Ombudsman, and drafting the Freedom of Information Act.

He advocated that reforms must be supplemented with transparent public monit oring mechanisms, auditable implementation timeframes, and regular public reporting. Additionally, he suggested expanding these reforms to include structural changes like political financing reforms, enhancing media freedom, strengthening Parliament's role, and creating a more organized relationship between the government and civil society.

He also affirmed that ABIM would maintain its role as a constructive partner, offering criticism when necessary and supporting initiatives that benefit the public. The organization is committed to ensuring that Malaysia progresses towards becoming a MADANI country characterized by justice and humanity.
