Bagan datuk: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has expressed his condolences to the family of six-year-old Muhammad Faith Fatih Abdullah Fattah, a child with autism, who was discovered dead in an oil palm plantation area in Kampung Baru, near Sungai Sumun, Hutan Melintang, last night.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Zahid, who represents Bagan Datuk as Member of Parliament, shared his sorrow over the child's untimely death in a Facebook post, emphasizing the profound impact of losing a young child with special needs. He conveyed his deepest sympathies to the grieving family, particularly the parents, acknowledging the immense challenge of such a loss.
In his message, Ahmad Zahid expressed his hope for the family to find strength and patience during this difficult time. He encouraged the community to recite Al-Fatihah and offer prayers for the child's soul, hoping for divine mercy upon him.
The tragic incident unfolded when Muhammad Faith was reported missing yesterday. His body was later found in a drain within the oil palm plantation at 10.08 pm during an extensive search and rescue operation. Bagan Datuk police chief Supt Mohammad Ali Mohd Jali reported that a police report was filed at approximately 4.54 pm, indicating that the child was last seen in the living room of his home.
