Kuala lumpur: An elderly man's body was found inside a car at a parking area in Desa Penang 2, Lebuh Sungai Pinang 7, here today. Timur Laut police chief ACP Abdul Rozak Muhammad said the 62-year-old man's body was discovered by the public, who notified authorities at 6.59 pm.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, initial investigations at the scene revealed that the victim was a local resident living in the area and had died inside the car. Further examination of the body and the scene found no elements of foul play, he said in a statement tonight.

He said the body was sent to Penang Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death. The case has been classified as sudden death while investigations continue.
