Petaling jaya: MODA (Malaysian Official Designers Association) marked a new era at its MODA Next Chapter event, hosted at Sheraton Petaling Jaya with Philosophy as partner. The newly elected 2025-2026 committee, led by President Cyrus Chin, unveiled its refreshed pillars: Elevate. Evolve. Empower, signalling a bold direction for Malaysian fashion.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, since 1990, MODA has united designers and championed local creativity. Its new focus will aim to elevate Malaysian designers' voices and global visibility, embrace digitalisation, innovation, and sustainability, and empower designers with mentorship, platforms, and opportunities.
