Embassy of Malaysia in Paris Enhances Visit Malaysia Promotion

Paris: The Embassy of Malaysia in Paris is intensifying efforts to promote Visit Perlis Year 2024-2026 through strategic engagement sessions with tourism agents in France. Malaysia's Ambassador to France, Datuk Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim, announced the initiative aimed at introducing the state's various interesting destinations to the European market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the initiative is being activated in tandem with the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign, which is being actively promoted through the organisation of prestigious events across France. Ambassador Eldeen Husaini emphasized a state-focused approach, incorporating fashion and food diplomacy to highlight Perlis.

The initiative includes hosting events such as the Malaysia Food Festival and Malaysia Open Day, alongside official receptions showcasing the country's unique arts, culture, and heritage to the local community. Eldeen Husaini noted that the embassy has been promoting VM2026 since last year through various events involving influencers, local media, and French authorities.

Additionally, a ceremony was held to launch VM2026 last December, attended by guests from multiple sectors in France, featuring Malaysian cultural dancers, fashion designers, and food.
