Energy Asia 2025 to Address Geopolitical and Macro Landscape Challenges in Energy Industry

Kuala Lumpur: The second edition of the energy forum, Energy Asia 2025, will center on geopolitical issues and macro landscapes impacting the energy industry, as announced by Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas). The event, set to take place from June 16-18 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, aims to support the region's net-zero ambitions by gathering policymakers, industry leaders, and energy professionals to propose actionable solutions for a just and responsible energy transition.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datin Arni Laily Anwaruddin, Petronas's group strategic relations and communications senior general manager, highlighted that the forum will also include extensive discussions on technology and financing within the industry. She emphasized the importance of collaboration among policymakers, academicians, and students to enhance partnerships and deliver impactful energy transition outcomes in Asia.

The second edition of Energy Asia 2025 is organized by Petronas in collaboration with CERAWeek by S and P Global, following the inaugural forum held in 2023. Themed 'Delivering Asia's Energy Transition,' the event will facilitate conversations on enhancing energy security, promoting renewable energy adoption, deploying decarbonisation solutions, facilitating technology transfers, and driving economic growth and socio-economic development across Asian nations.
