Pasir Puteh:An express bus on its way from Negeri Sembilan to Kota Bharu skidded and crashed into a surau at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bukit Jawa 2 early this morning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the incident occurred at approximately 4.50 am at Kilometre 1, Jalan Selising-Kok Lanas. The bus was carrying a 60-year-old driver and three passengers, all of whom escaped without injuries.

Pasir Puteh police chief Supt Saari Yaacob stated that preliminary investigations suggest the bus lost control before the driver attempted to brake, resulting in the vehicle sliding and crashing into the surau. The case is currently being investigated under Rule 10 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959 (LN 166/59).
