Melaka: The damage to the building at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) Sultan Muhammad in Melaka caused by a fire this morning will be repaired immediately. Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek gave the assurance, stating that the Melaka Education Department and the relevant divisions under the Ministry of Education have been instructed to take swift action.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in a Facebook post, Fadhlina said the incident affected the section of the building that houses the teachers' room. "Thankfully, no injuries were reported involving teachers, students and school staff," she said in the post, while also sharing a photo showing the damage caused by the fire.
