Kota kinabalu: Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil has embarked on a two-day working visit to Sabah, commencing today. Fahmi's schedule is packed with community engagement activities and political events aimed at fostering connections and discussing key issues with the local populace.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi's itinerary includes attending the Hari Bersama Komuniti dan Temu Anak Muda meet and greet programme at the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) in Kampung Kopimpinan, Jalan Kopimpinan Dabak, Putatan. This event is scheduled for 12.15 pm today and is expected to provide an opportunity for Fahmi to interact with community members and young people in the area.
Tomorrow, Fahmi is set to engage with locals through a walkabout and breakfast session at the Gaya Street morning market, Jalan Gaya, starting at 9 am. This informal meeting will allow Fahmi to experience the local culture and understand the concerns of Sabah's residents.
Later in the day, at 10 am, Fahmi will attend the Rancakkan MADANI programme at the Sabah International Convention Centre. This event aims to highlight developmental initiatives and promote dialogue on various topics relevant to the region. Fahmi's visit will culminate with the announcement of PKR's candidates for the 17th Sabah State Election at 7 pm, marking a significant moment in the political landscape of the state.
