Kuala lumpur: Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil today extended his congratulations to BERNAMA Radio on its 19th anniversary, expressing hope that the station would continue to be the trusted voice of Malaysians.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in a Facebook post, Fahmi stated that BERNAMA Radio played an important role in delivering credible news and the latest information, while also serving as a loyal companion to listeners nationwide. He extended well wishes to the staff, saying, "Happy 19th anniversary to all BERNAMA Radio staff! May BERNAMA Radio continue to progress, remain relevant and always be the trusted voice of Malaysians."

The station, which began broadcasting in September 2007, was formerly known as Radio24 and is recognized as the country's first 24-hour news radio station offering continuous current affairs content. BERNAMA Radio is accessible on FM 93.9 MHz in Kuala Lumpur, FM 107.5 MHz in Johor, FM 100.9 MHz in Kuching, and FM 107.9 MHz in Kota Kinabalu.
