Kuala lumpur: The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) is aiming to secure RM15 million in sponsorship for the year 2025 to bolster its administrative operations and support the national team.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, FAM Sponsorship and Marketing Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Hisamudin Yahaya announced that they have so far secured between RM7 million and RM8 million in sponsorships. He emphasized that they are still short of the target and are working diligently to meet the goal set for the upcoming year. His comments were made during a media conference where FAM announced the renewal of its partnership with the isotonic drink brand 100PLUS.
The event was attended by key figures such as FAM deputy presidents Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mahadi and Datuk S Sivasundaram, along with Fraser and Neave Holdings Bhd's Foods and Industry Engagement managing director Datuk Raffiq Md Ariff. During the conference, it was revealed that 100PLUS will continue its role as the Official Isotonic Beverage Partner for the national team for an additional two years, with a total sponsorship value of RM2 million.
Raffiq expressed satisfaction with the ongoing partnership, stating that 100PLUS is committed to supporting football in Malaysia. He highlighted that collaboration with FAM is seen as an effective way to contribute to the sport's development in the country.
