Farmer Appeals for Financial Aid to Support Ailing Children

Kuala lumpur: A 71-year-old vegetable farmer is seeking financial help from the public to manage the overwhelming medical expenses for his two ailing children.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Law Sang's 40-year-old daughter is dealing with mental health challenges and stage four breast cancer, while his 32-year-old son is suffering from brain and neck injuries following a road accident two years ago. Law disclosed that he requires around RM10,000 every month to manage their medical treatments and care. Additionally, he incurs a cost of RM2,600 every two months to rent an ambulance for their trips to Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh.

Law's income, derived from cultivating vegetables on a 0.8-hectare plot, amounts to about RM4,000 per month, which is insufficient to cover his family's medical expenses. Mohd Rawi Abdullah, the chief of the Perak Barisan Nasional (BN) Complaints and Service Centre, announced that those interested in helping Law can contact him directly at 019-5168338 for more information.
