Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the December 2025 contract slid 5.5 points to 1,639.5, while the January 2026 contract also shaved off 5.5 points, closing at 1,642.0. The March 2026 contract eased by 6.5 points, ending at 1,625.5, and the June 2026 contract slipped 3.5 points to close at 1,628.5.
Turnover for the day decreased to 5,068 lots from 7,158 recorded last Friday. Meanwhile, open interest receded to 41,488 contracts compared to 43,035 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI index rose by 5.91 points, or 0.36 percent, reaching 1,643.72 from Friday's close of 1,637.81.
