FBM KLCI Futures End Lower, Tracking Cash Market Losses


Kuala Lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, tracking losses in the underlying cash market.



According to BERNAMA News Agency, March 2025 and June 2025 contracts fell 17 points each to 1,496.0 and 1,498.5, respectively, while April 2025 declined 17.5 points to 1,498.5. September 2025 lost 18 points to 1,487.0.



Turnover dropped to 8,079 lots from 15,583 on Monday, while open interest narrowed to 46,951 contracts from 50,468.



At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped 16.31 points, or 1.06 percent, to 1,520.15 from Monday’s close of 1,536.46.
