Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower on Friday. At 9.28 am, the August 2026 contract reduced three points to 1,729, September 2026 eased 2.5 points to 1,707.5, December 2026 erased seven points to 1,705.5 and March 2027 slid 4.5 points to 1,691.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, turnover was at 1,669, while open interest totaled 39,172 contracts.
