Kuala Lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives experienced an increase during the early trading session today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.45 am, January 2025, February 2025, and March 2025 futures each rose by 6.5 points to reach 1,559.5, 1,563.0, and 1,546.0, respectively. Meanwhile, the June 2025 futures climbed by 7.5 points to 1,553.0.

The market saw a turnover of 2,802 lots, with an open interest recorded at 39,904 contracts. The benchmark FBM KLCI itself increased by 3.29 points, reaching 1,565.41 after 50 minutes of trading, compared to the previous close of 1,562.12 on Wednesday.
