Kuala lumpur: Food and Drinks Malaysia by SIAL (FDM2026), to be held from July 21-23, 2026, is set to elevate Malaysia as ASEAN's premier food and beverage hub.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, SIAL Network - ASEAN and India of Comexposium Sdn Bhd managing director Henri Tan stated that FDM is a strategic platform that continues to strengthen Malaysia's position as a gateway for food trade, innovation, and industry collaboration across ASEAN. Tan emphasized that since its launch in 2023, FDM has evolved into a significant platform connecting the food and beverage industry across Malaysia, ASEAN, and beyond. The goal is to position Malaysia as a key gateway for food trade, innovation, and industrial collaboration in Southeast Asia.
The exhibition will provide exhibitors with access to buyers, distributors, and new international markets while creating an efficient sourcing environment for trade visitors. This year's theme, 'Savour Southeast Asia: The Epicentre of Taste, Trade and Talent,' reflects the exhibition's ambition to showcase not only products and businesses but also culinary excellence and industry talent.
Among the major highlights is the introduction of Chocolate Show 2026, which will run alongside FDM under a 'one pass, two shows' concept, allowing visitors to access both exhibitions with a single admission pass. The event is expected to create new opportunities for businesses across the food, beverage, and confectionery sectors.
FDM2026 is promising its largest edition yet with more than 500 exhibitors, 18,000 trade visitors, over 1,000 food and beverage products, and participation from more than 12 international and national pavilions.
