SERDANG, The Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) Settlers’ Day 2024, held at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) over three days, has successfully attracted over 500,000 visitors, said its Strategic Communications director Syirfan Indra Mitra Surya Hussin.
He said that the attendance exceeded the target set, making it the best Settlers’ Day celebration in Felda’s history.
‘This is the first time the Settlers’ Day celebration was held over three days, marking a significant expansion from its previous format as a one-day event, and it successfully reached the attendance target.
‘Insya-Allah, this will be a new benchmark for the new generation of Felda and future celebrations,’ he said, representing the Felda management, at a press conference on the closing of HPF 2024, here, today.
The celebration, which started on Friday at MAEPS, targeted the presence of 500,000 Felda settlers, the new generation of Felda, and the general public.

d budget of RM3 million, thanks to sponsorships from private companies and ministries.
Simultaneously, Felda is prepared to collaborate with the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), to expand next year’s Felda Settlers’ Day celebration.
‘Next year’s event will be significantly larger, as we partner with KKDW to host a joint celebration with the Rural Entrepreneurs’ Carnival (KUD), targeting two million visitors,’ he said.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, said that the KUD will be jointly held with the Felda Settlers’ Day next year.
