Kuala lumpur: Five members of a family were burnt to death in a fire that engulfed a house in Kampung Pamah Kulat here early today. District police chief Supt Mohd Shahril Abdul Rahman said police were notified of the incident at 3.35 am. 'The bodies were found after the fire was put out,' he told Bernama when contacted. He said the bodies were taken to the Raub Hospital. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Pahang Fire and Rescue Department director Datuk Mohd Razam Taja Rahim stated in a report that firemen arrived at the scene at 4.15 am and brought the fire under control at 4.48 am. The blaze destroyed 100 per cent of the house and also three cars and three motorcycles. Mohd Razam noted that 14 firemen in three engines from Raub and Lipis stations were involved in the operation.
