Kuala lumpur: Several areas in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak are expected to experience thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds until 11 pm tomorrow.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) announced today that the affected areas include Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh, and Kuala Krai in Kelantan. In Terengganu, the areas of Besut, Setiu, and Hulu Terengganu are expected to be impacted.
Additionally, in Pahang, Maran and Pekan have been identified as regions likely to experience severe weather conditions. Over in Sarawak, the areas of Kapit (Belaga) and Miri (Telang Usan) are on alert.
In Sabah, the forecasted areas include Nabawan, Tawau (Kunak and Lahad Datu), and Sandakan (Tongod and Kinabatangan). MetMalaysia has advised residents in these regions to take necessary precautions and stay updated with the latest weather information.
