Five States in Peninsular Malaysia Brace for Morning Thunderstorms

Kuala lumpur: Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected to affect five states in Peninsular Malaysia until noon today, said the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia issued a statement indicating that these weather conditions are forecasted in Perlis and Kedah, specifically targeting areas such as Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Yan, Pendang, Kuala Muda, and Kulim. Penang is also on alert, particularly in Seberang Perai Utara and Seberang Perai Tengah.

The warning extends to parts of Selangor, including Klang and Kuala Langat, and several areas in Johor, namely Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Pontian, Kulai, and Johor Bahru.

Residents in these regions are advised to stay informed about the weather conditions and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during this period.
