Johor bahru: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) are fully aware of the challenge as they face Bangkok United tomorrow in the ASEAN Club Championship at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, stressing the need for focus and consistency. JDT head coach Xisco Munoz said that although his team's morale was boosted by the recent 8-0 victory over Sabah in the Super League, the upcoming clash will be a completely different test.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Munoz emphasized that when facing different situations, it is important for the team to learn quickly. He described this as part of the process, highlighting the importance of growth and becoming more consistent. Munoz acknowledged the potential for both sides to win and stressed the necessity for JDT to maintain full concentration throughout the game.

Munoz stated, "Both teams are capable of winning. We'll have our fans behind us, but it will still be a tough game. We cannot afford lapses in our game and will give our maximum focus for 90 minutes." He further emphasized defensive organization and ball control as the foundation for JDT's game plan.

Meanwhile, Bangkok United head coach Totchtawan Sripan remarked that his team is preparing for their second match after a 4-2 win against Selangor. He recognized JDT as one of the best clubs in Asia and expressed confidence from past experiences against top teams.

When asked about adapting to JDT's style, Totchtawan stated that his team will adhere to their identity while anticipating a high-intensity match against the Malaysian champions.
